Expeditie Oosterdok has developed a brand-new walking tour around the Oosterdok, called Ontdek Oosterdok (“Discover Oosterdok”). This interactive walking route invites residents and visitors to uncover the hidden stories of this historic and innovative neighborhood. Along the way, through various games and stories, you’ll learn more about the transformation of the Oosterdok — from the world’s largest harbor to a vibrant hub for culture, architecture, and innovation.
This walking tour was created as part of the City Center Approach by the Municipality of Amsterdam and co-funded by the Municipality of Amsterdam, the Bartiméus Fund, Expeditie Oosterdok, and the Marineterrein. The route was developed by IJsfontein and Arcam, with Accessibility providing advice on its accessibility.
